Beautiful gardens famous for the Blue Himalayan Poppies with Tearoom on site. Limited disability parking available near the entrance but small car park available slightly further away. Can be reached from Perth City Centre via the Queens Bridge or the footpath on the Railway bridge that crosses the Moncreiffe Island. NTS property.

Visited branklyn today and spent an hour in the beautiful garden.
Although quite small it is crammed with some unusual plants/trees and flowers.
If you visit you must visit the delightful tea room.
The service was exceptional from the ladies who also made such a fuss of Ollie (my golden Labrador)
The food was made fresh to order and was delicious.
We had the special spicy sweet potato soup and roast beef sandwiches .
The price of the food was so reasonable that we also got a carry out of scone and cinnamon bun.
Will return even if it's just to revisit the tea room.

Superb small garden, with much of interest for people with any level of interest in gardening. Latest visit was in early May, camellia, gentians, meconopsis, and the first peonies all looking good, as were the rhododendrons and azaleas. The tea room scones are also delicious. Actually it doesn't really matter what season you visit in, there's always something of interest in bloom.

Pas aussi extraordinaire que l'on pourrait le penser avec toute la pub faite autour de ces chutes d'eau
Parking cher 3£
Pas possible d'avancer sur la falaise d'un côté comme de l'autre espace restreint pour le public

Despite being right next to a busy road, the garden is quite quiet. The entrance is just off the main road up a short incline. There is parking here for disabled drivers only, the other spaces are claimed by neighbours to the garden. Entrance by a gate, to be kept closed. There is a shop at the entrance where tickets can be bought. Concession £7. The garden stretches along the hillside. Toilets, a female and a unisex (including disabled). The cafe is at the end of the private house and has an open terrace with tables and chairs to sit outside. It doesn't take long to walk around but there are multiple pathways to take depending on where the best flower displays are. Lots of plants of various types on show. Big rock gardens scattered around. Trees and bushes abound, a water feature and benches laid out at the entrance with plants for sale. Some plants I'd never seen before. It is possible to walk all the garden areas on this side of the River Tay or cross the railway bridge into the town centre.

Friendly welcome at the ticket office on arrival , but far too expensive for the small garden that it is. Not good value if you're not an NTS member wanting a casual visit. It took us 20mins to fully walk round taking our time. Cafe looks nice with seats on the lawn overlooking the rockery.

I have lived in Perth for many years, and never seen the gardens, but it was a feast on the eyes , I intend to see it in all its seasons next year
I have now been a member for 2 years and love going to chill in the gardens and buy seeds and plants, also a nice tea with cake 🎂

Adorable little garden with a heartwarming story behind the couple who established the gardens. Lovely tea room on site as well serving home baked goods. Perfect place to spend an hour or so.
